If you are one of the 2 billion people who use Facebook, then you may have seen or participated in a Facebook group. Maybe you even run one yourself like me or my guest on today’s Leading Lady Podcast - Dr. Syretha Storey. Groups can be such a great way to build a community of like-minded people, and I’m thrilled to chat with Dr. Storey about how her Facebook Group has done just that.
Dr. Storey has been in the field of early childhood education for more than thirty years. In this time, she has been a Teacher, Child Care Center Director, Trainer & Family Child Care Director. She also has significant experience as a post-secondary educator. She runs a Facebook group directed toward early childhood directors and educators that I enjoy being a member of myself.
Listen in to our conversation about how to bring a group of people together online to share ideas in a way that is respectful and encourages discussion. Groups are especially valuable now as people and business owners are learning how to navigate the world post-COVID 19.
